Jeff and I decided that we needed a vacation. Jeff was inbetween semesters in school and I some how got it worked out to miss a few days of work and we decided to take a road trip. San Diego seemed like a good choice: warm, beach, new adventure, road trip, and good food. We left on Saturday after I rode in the Goldilocks 60 mile bike ride with my mom and sisters and Jeff was in a paintball tournament and drove to St. George. We bid our mother's a Happy Mothers Day and off we went. We enjoyed playing at the beach and the beautiful sunsets as well as kyaking in the ocean and Jeff attempted surfing and I enjoyed a good book on the beach. I will post pictures of the zoo soon as there were some very fun animals that I had never seen before. I felt like I was in the Lion King. Back to the real world we come but we had a great time and enjoyed are time away.
